Ed Fantegrossi +
Chairman
Mr. Fantegrossi has a vision for GEO:
“Whatever we do, we do with honor as we quietly take pride in doing what is right for the project and for the customer.”
This conveys the ideals and the practicality that are inherent in Ed’s philosophy of doing business. His intuition and skills in listening and observing have brought together some of the best people to be part of GEO. Consequently, the values imbedded into GEO are there because of a common thread of honor and expertise.
Over the years, Ed has developed his philosophy in conjunction with his experience in real estate, data and telecom. His real estate background had its beginnings in residential and commercial development and expanded into innovative real estate solutions for businesses and complex developments. Building on his real estate development experience and being open to new ideas, Ed entered the telecom market with the founding of Voyager Networks, Inc., a domestic long distance reseller, data services, co-location and facilities management service provider that was later sold to Frontier Communications.
Ed has always believed in businesses that fill a market niche. As an example, he co-founded DEVNET and devised a program of large block property leasing to handle the invasion of CLECs into the newly deregulated Regional Bells’ core business. Prior to GEO, he founded and is Chairman of EDCO, LLC, an international telecommunications and switching company with multibillion-dollar telecom customers. Additionally, Ed serves as principle partner and co-founder of Axcess Technology Group, Inc. that was designed to provide telecom and co-location services for the emerging deregulated and privatized PTTs.
Having a passion for education since he was very young, Ed co-founded and is on the board of the Internet Educational Equal Access Foundation (IEEAF), a non-profit organization that encourages solutions to the “digital divide” by means of philanthropic donations of "telecommunications" assets to universities through the IEEAF’s Stewardship Initiatives.
In summary, with Ed Fantegrossi as Chairman, GEO has a solid and well-rounded foundation. Furthermore, the GEO employees take pride in knowing that excellence and integrity are the top rules of business at GEO.
